This holder/slab Newton's rings. If you're not familiar, Newton's rings occur when two different plastics with different refractive indexes are placed together, creating a rainbow or "oil slick" effect. These rings DO NOT harm the book in any way. In the image I provided, you will notice them mostly in the Eternals logo. But again, the colors on this book are vibrant and EVEN throughout.

That is to say, there are not various shades of yellow in the Eternals logo; it just appears that way because of the Newton's rings. It's a beautiful book well deserving of a 9.6.
